Description
Procurement Specialist isrequired for a contract position in Quarry House, Leeds, UK. Sopra Steria Recruitment working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. Our Government client is looking for an Procurement Specialist this will be a 3 months contract role initially with possible extension.
Essential Experience:
- Knowledge of the service provider market and wider stakeholder environment.
- Experience of risk management, corporate governance and quality management systems
- Expert knowledge of procurement strategy, relevant legislation and Health care clients and government policies
- Must have knowledge and experience in putting together contracts including terms and conditions and schedules.
- Must have experience of working alongside clients to create effective commercial models and to support the drafting of specifications. Project planning and management techniques Experience of managing complex procurement processes
- Desirable: Knowledge of the IT market would be an advantage.
