Sub Contract Manager
A Sub Contract Manager is required to work on an eight month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Rosyth.
This is an eight month contract for a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Sub Contract Manager Contract role
You will be required to direct and manage all phases of the subcontract life cycle (from pre contract award to contract closure) for assigned HVAC turnkey Subcontract across our clients' naval programme.
Key skills required for the Sub Contract Manager
- Manage complex contracts with large service elements
- Commercially astute
- Ability to assimilate and interpret complex data
- Work with consultants on cost reconciliation activities
- Thorough understanding of Earned Value Management
- Good presentation skills
- Leadership skills
- Excellent negotiation/influencing skills
The role is based in Edinburgh - commutable from Dundee, Perth, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Stirling and Falkirk with excellent access from Glasgow.
