Management Accountant - 5 Month Contract - Alloa
Our client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to work within their Alloa office.
The successful candidate will provide financial analysis support to the business areas and producing management information to support governance bodies. This includes assisting in the preparation of financial reports as well as challenging information received.
You will have previously supported managers on reviewing budgets from a strategic point of view.
Responsibilities:
. Oversee production of monthly delegated budgeting reports on staffing and expenditure, ensuring quality and accuracy
. Oversee production of monthly reports including business and financial performance report
. Ensure key messages from financial information are highlighted and clearly explained
. Provide assistance to managers within the Programme Office so that they understand the financial impact of their projects and follow cost control procedures
Essential Skills/Experience
. Accountancy qualification - CCAB or CIMA or equivalent.
. Experience of working in a finance section
. Public Sector Experience essential
. Supervisory experience
