A leading Energy and Utilities client of Pontoon is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their site in Kingswinford
Job Summary:
- Responsible for providing financial and commercial business partnering support to the Metering and Field Operations area, with significant involvement in contract negotiations both from a sales and purchase perspective.
- Reporting to the Metering & Field Operations Finance Manager, partnering the Field Operations leadership Team, acting as the key interface into commercial contract managers, and validation teams
- To drive commercial value add, support commercial and strategic decisions/contract outcomes.
- Leading a small team to deliver financial support to senior business stakeholders, as well as leading on cost updates into segmental pricing teams.
- Support and challenge longer term strategy in order to help shape/prepare/optimise the business for significant growth for Smart Metering delivery.
- Lead role in ensuring budget planning is aligned across functional areas, and working with Finance Colleagues to ensure Gross Margin Performance is articulated and Risks & Opps well managed.
Industry Qualifications:
- Significant post qualification experience (CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualification)
- Membership of an professional accounting institute
- Self-motivated with the ability to build excellent working relationships, working across functional boundaries
- Excellent oral and written communication, influencing and presentation skills
