Description
Our client, a leading UK Central Government Department is seeking a Strategic Procurement Specialist on a contract basis to work at their Leeds office.
This is a 6 month contract and is paying £390 - £490 per day LTD.
Key Tasks:
Essential Experience:
- Knowledge of the service provider market and wider stakeholder environment.
- Experience of risk management, corporate governance and quality management systems
- Expert knowledge of procurement strategy, relevant legislation and NHS and government policies
- Must have knowledge and experience in putting together contracts including terms and conditions and schedules.
- Must have experience of working alongside clients to create effective commercial models and to support the drafting of specifications. Project planning and management techniques
- Experience of managing complex procurement processes.
- Knowledge of the IT market would be an advantage
