Description
Summary- Looking for a Citrix operations engineer to support large and growing enterprise Citrix XenDesktop deployment.
- Candidate will assist Citrix architect team supporting the Citrix infrastructure and end users.
- Must have recent production environment experience with Citrix technologies, preferably in larger enterprise environments.
Qualifications
- Experience with XenDesktop 7.x, 7.5 or higher preferred
- Thorough understanding of MCS and PVS and the pros and cons of both
- Thorough knowledge of Windows operating system
- Working knowledge of how to deploy master images in both MCS and PVS
- VMware knowledge of working with snapshots and how it pertains to Citrix
- How to update VMware tools in both PVS and MCS images
- Historical Citrix terminal server knowledge (knowing the basics)
- Experience working in Citrix MCS environment
- XenApp experience is preferred
- Experience with NetScaler preferred
- Familiar with hypervisor technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Experience in production environment with 4,000+ users is preferred
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Solid communication skills
