Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Under the guidance of Delivery Management, initiates projects and manages
Definition and implementation of project scope following RBC Practices, Processes and Standards.
* Works closely with Delivery Management in establishing project direction and manages its execution
* Provides leadership and direction to the IT Project Team in meeting project targets.
* Works with project stakeholders and Solution Delivery partners to adapt project approach as required.
* Works closely with Program and Delivery Management to bring transparency and predictability to the IT
* Plan, its deliverables and their progress.
* Manages stakeholder expectations throughout against a project plan.
* Seeks out industry trends and organization knowledge to understand alternative approaches/solutions.
* Works closely with appropriate IT Managers, Enterprise and Solution Architects to develop recommendations on best solutions incorporating build, buy or leverage based on understanding of business requirements.
Key Requirements:
*Experience or certification in Project management (PMP, Prince II)
*Experience of minimum 10 year in an IT Project Manager position
*Experience in Fund Accounting. Global Custody, Middle Office and Trading Agent is a plus.
*Knowledge of IT infrastructure technology
*Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques is a plus.
