IT Service Operations Manager / Insurance / 3-6month contract and then Permanent / £440pdIT service operations manager required for my client based in the insurance sector. This is an initial 3-6 month contract and then it will become a permanent position. The IT service operations manager opportunity is paying up to £440pd and it will be based between London and Chelmsford.
As the IT Operations manager, you will be responsible for the Oversight and Governance of an outsourced third party Service desk based in Belfast, Workplace services and a Service desk in Holland and Belgium.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and manage all aspects of IT Operations, ensuring infrastructure and applications are available, reliable, secure and have adequate capacity to support business requirements.
- Particular focus on Problem, Incident and Service requests
- BAU activities (Focus on Incident, Problem and Request Management for BAU)
- Service Improvement
- Work with Service Transition and Change Management
- Create & execute Service Improvement Plan
- SLA monitoring and management, RCA and Problem focus
- Stakeholder management
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Worked within the insurance Sector and have a high-level understanding of London Markets
- Must have good stakeholder management skills
- experience working on Problem, incident and service requirements
- working in a similar role is needed within the insurance sector
- ITIL Certification
As mentioned, this is a 3-6 month contract and then will become a permanent position. Salary will be assessed once the contract is coming to its end. This is a great opportunity for an individual that is looking to continue their career in the Insurance sector in a fast paced environment.
