Duration: 6 Month Rolling Job
Description: A contractor role for an experienced, collaborative and enthusiastic UNIX SA to join an established storage transformation team across SAN and NAS storage on EMC and Net App products.
Role / Responsibilities:
- Work with the project manager to prepare, plan, remediate, execute and support the SAN and NAS migrations.
- Execute migrations based on defined plan and support/resolve any issues
- Available to support weekend and weekday out of hours migrations based on a schedule prepared by project manager. Remote working will be possible for out of hours in most cases
- Ensure adherence to Detailed Data Migration Strategy and compliance at all times
- Analysis of existing data sources, preparation and remediation for migration activities
- Identify and manage risks & issues in coordination with Project Manager
