Credit Risk Manager - Financial Services - London - Contract
My client a leading Financial Services organisation based in London is currently recruiting for a Senior Credit Risk Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and managing credit risk assessments and continual monitoring of various counterparties including banks and corporates to protect the organisation from financial loss as a result of systemic, economic and counterparty failure.
Key responsibilities/Experience
- Ensure the organisations is protected from financial loss due to pre-paid, settlement, sovereign and high merchant risks in compliance with risk policies.
- Contribute to the development of member risk policy and preparing the first draft for board papers.
- Monitoring exposure and running financial risk analysis on large and high risk counterparties.
- Monitoring micro and macro-economic status of the countries the business operates.
- Analysing the credit risk of new and existing counterparties, and present reviews to management.
- Significant bank/corporate counterparty and sovereign risk analysis experience within the financial services industry.
