Currently seeking a VAS/OCS Engineer. 6 month rolling contract based in the Uganda working for a leading telecommunications company.
Knowledge of OCS 5.5. Huawei and Ericsson vendor experience
SMSC/WAPGW/MMSC/CRBT/USSD migrations
Performed configuration changes in the customer's core network
Preventive maintenance, routine alarm monitoring, periodic health checks.
Extensive protocol troubleshooting .
