Senior Project Manager (Facilities, Construction, Maintenance, MBIFM, BIFM, PRINCE2) required
for initial 1-year contract for key public sector client based in central Edinburgh
Our client requires a Senior Project Manager to manage FM related project activities, ensuring processes are effective and projects are successfully delivered through a high degree of stakeholder engagement, budget control and progress reporting to senior management. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve FMs project process for complex building/maintenance projects through the project development life cycle.
Essential Criteria
- Extensive experience and a track record of delivering maintenance/construction projects.
- A degree in a relevant building related discipline is required, or equivalent experience.
- Significant professional track record in successful project delivery and managing project processes.
- Experience of preparing business cases.
- Effective problem solving/negotiation skills to work effectively with contractors and stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at senior management level.
Desirable Criteria
- Full membership of a professional body is desirable.
- Public sector project experience.
