Description

My client, a major travel company based in Crawley are looking for a Finance Business Partner for the shared services.
This role encompasses overhead reporting for the Central functions within the Group of companies and also consolidation of information across the group where required. You will ensure delivery of timely and accurate reporting for central overheads across the Group, with a focus on controlling costs and day to day management of the overheads accounting team.

What You Will Be Doing
Be the main point of contact for the central overheads functions and payroll ensuring fast turnaround of relevant queries and management of the overheads team.
Manage the month end reporting timetable and processing for central overheads to ensure the cost base across central functions (Finance, IT & Digital) is monitored and controlled in line with expectations and added value analysis is provided to aid tight cost controls.
Provide a high quality business partnering service to cost centre managers ensuring that monthly overhead cost packs are produced on a timely basis, and monthly review meetings are held with the relevant cost centre managers
Manage the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for central overheads, understanding the key drivers of change. Ensure all reporting is set-up effectively to monitor business performance against budget/forecast for the relevant financial year.
Prepare slides on central overheads providing an overview of monthly performance for inclusion in the monthly reporting pack. Determine and communicate risks and opportunities within overheads to the Head of Finance Reporting SHG.
Manage and develop the overhead team (2 direct reports) that will be able to support a changing business in a competitive environment whist driving efficiency and employing best practice.
Prepare insightful analysis on an adhoc basis and consistently review process/procedures to drive improvements and optimise reporting.
Liaise with payroll to ensure data is accurate and produced in a timely fashion. Manage the relationship between SHG and the outsourced payroll function in Swansea.

What We Are Looking For
Qualified finance professional with previous experience in the industry
Challenging and able to influence at senior levels
Able to build relationships across all levels of the organisation
Good Excel, Boxi and data reporting tool knowledge
Hands on with good attention to detail and desire for accuracy
Ability to manage and develop a small team
Proactive in dealing with issues
Ability to work under pressure and ensure deadlines are met
A willingness to travel between sites in Crawley and London
