My client is looking for a quality inspector to join their team on an initial 3 month contract in South wales.
Skills Required
- Experience in completing Aerospace AS9102 standard first article forms.
- Use of analogue measuring equipment both imperial & metric.
- Understanding and experience in using 2d drawings & BOMs to verify manufactured items meet customer requirements.
- Conducting visual and measurement checks, returning products for re-work; confirming re-work; rejecting items that do not meet customer's criteria.
- Review incoming material certification by confirming specifications.
- Computer literate with experience of MS Office suite to communicate required adjustments to production engineering.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Able to operate CMM machine advantageous.
- Familiar with Airbus FAI process advantageous.
