Description

One of our prestige consultancy clients is offering a rare opportunity for a Data and Information Architect to work within a project operating from Kazakhstan.

The client will pay for all travel and accommodation associated with carrying out the contract deliverables.

This unique opportunity is on a large scale transformation programme predominantly focusing on Data Management (DM) and Business Intelligence (BI).

-Essential Experience Required-
.Experienced in Data Management (DM) & Data Governance (DG) based on DAMA DMBOK.

.Worked in functional areas such as Utility (desirable Energy) Telecom, Enterprise Applications (ERP, Asset management via public or private sector as part of the large scale transformation programme.

.Capability of modelling data at abstract, conceptual, logical and physical levels.

.Working with commercially recognized architecture mapping tools

.Qualified as Data management Practitioner using framework or standards such as TOGAF, Zachman, DAMA DMBOK, ISO8001 and IS.

-Technical Competencies-
.Ability to investigate, and comprehensively map, current system, data, information landscapes.

.Competence to explore and document system/process/interfaces (automated and manual) interfaces down to data item level.

.Aptitude to define potential impacts and risks of system and data migration on current environment, systems, data, processes, information and reporting.

.Ability to present and collate findings to different audiences with varying needs and concerns.

.Understanding of limitations and constraints of large technical environments.

.Clear grasp of data management processes and practices for data and system migrations.

.Knowledge of metadata dictionaries/glossary collation and management processes.

-Behavioural Competencies-
.Building trusting relationships within Central, Transformation and across other departments.

.Methodical and organised approach towards investigating complex landscapes.

.Accomplished stakeholder manager with good persuasion, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

.Adept at planning and running investigation workshops to uncover nuances and variations.

-Qualifications Required-
.Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
