Description
My marine automation client requires several Service Commissioning Engineers on 6 month contracts based out in South Korea.
The role will be to service, repair and commissioning the clients vessels automation systems.
Skills/experience
- HNC level or more in Electronics/Computer
- Controls & Automation (Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, Siemens 7, Mitsubishi etc)
- Field servicing
- Marine industry experience (minimum 2 years)
- Digital system experience/Knowledge of serial communications
- Networks experience eg Ethernet, Arcnet
The role will require you to be 1 month ON/1 month OFF. That said, 6 weeks ON/2 weeks OFF is also possible.
The working hours are Mon-Fri (minimum 10 hours per day).
Transport, flights, accommodation, food allowance and subsistence will all be paid for by the client.
It will be a two stage interview process (Telephone followed by a face to face).
