Description

Beacon Hill Technologies is currently searching for a Service Desk Consolidation Manager for a client located in Beachwood, Ohio. This is a 6+ month Contract position.

Service Desk Consolidation Manager.

  • This position will be responsible for identifying and designing the Service Desk organization consolidation needs and developing the integration plan for an Integrated Shared Services model across the Enterprise.
  • This individual will need to learn and understand the core IT business and work with support and service delivery teams to perform gap analysis, workplan development, policy writing and adherence, and full implementation.
  • Multiple implementations will be occurring simultaneously and efforts need to be coordinated with available resources and time frames.
  • Deliverables include an overall project workplan, individual support team plans, budget, time lines, resources utilized, etc.
  • Responsible for managing multiple concurrent implementations while sustaining a level or quality for our caregivers.
  • The implementation manager will utilize project management methodologies for each implementation while acting as primary point of communication of the Services Desk Manager and internal stakeholders.
  • The responsibilities include managing requirements, containing scope, consistent project updates, schedule/plan, monitoring the quality of the deliverables/milestones, issue escalation, and internally ensuring appropriate resource allocation.

  • 5 years proven experience driving large scale enterprise service desk/share services consolidation experience. Includes designing plan, approach, operating measures, tools and staff integration.
  • Strong project management discipline, including development of project plans, assessment and mitigation of risk, effectively meeting management and tracking actions and issues.
  • Ability to lead project and program activities to ensure effective scope, acceptable timing, maximum benefit and quality delivery.
  • Develop implementation strategies for process improvement.
  • Managed client relationships, including being primary point of contact while coordinating meetings, reporting, issue resolution, etc.

  • Must be detailed oriented and have great oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and facilitation/process mapping skills.
  • Ability to summarize and present information at the appropriate level of detail for the intended audience across various levels in the organization and with the client.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong competency utilizing MS Office tools, including: Word, Excel, MS Project 2010 and Visio software.
  • Ability to professionally work with manager to executive level members of the healthcare industry and to be seen as a subject matter expert on SOC series offered and project management.
  • Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills, ability to guide a customer's decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and take action independently.
