Senior Storage Engineer - 6 months - Slough, BerkshireA leading provider of IT solutions are looking for a Senior Storage Engineer to join a BAU team on a 6 month contract based in Slough, Berkshire. The successful Senior Storage Engineer will have:
- Strong HP Storage skills (3PAR, StoreOnce, Data Protector)
- Extensive EMC Storage experience (VNX, Data Domain, Networker)
- Good Veeam solution skills
- Experience of following ITIL processes
The ideal Senior Storage Engineer will be responsible for:
- Providing expert-level support for the Storage and Backup Infrastructure
- Ensuring level metrics are monitored, reviewed and reported regularly
- Making sure backups are done on time and restored successfully
- Working with architects, project managers and stakeholders
- Helping to manage the 3rd party from a technical aspect
