Description

We are looking for Technical Support Specialist - VoIP (Vonage) in UT, details:

Location: Draper, UT

Duration: Long Term

Start: 2-3 weeks

  • Responsible for troubleshooting consumer VOIP products for the industry leader in home and business VOIP communications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written & oral communication skills, enabling to explain complex technical issues & resolutions

  • Manage customer expectation/escalations effectively to resolution

  • The ability to liaise with carriers, vendors and internal departments

  • Excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals of the Networking

  • Proficiency in French required

Preferred Skills & Ability:
2 Yrs. of experience in Network Support or troubleshooting
Good understanding and ability to perform basic troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, Routers, PBX, Firewalls, Switches, TCP/IP, multiplexers, Gateways etc.
Knowledge of Internet protocols such as SSH, FTP, SFTP & HTTP, as well as the ability to use diagnostic tools such as trace route, ping, dig, etc
Ability to troubleshoot various NW & VoIP devices
Good knowledge on switching & routing
CCNA, Network+ or other industry Certification strongly preferred
