Description

Job Mission

Drive the delivery of all required Manufacturing work preparation from the D&E projects towards Factory execution. Create quantitative (completeness) and qualitative (impact) reporting on work preparation status towards Factory system starts and our client's Product Generation Process Key Decisions. Drive early qualification of work preparation on proto systems.

Job Description

  • Generate overview of all work preparation deliverables required for successful Factory system build and qualification;
  • Drive the delivery of all work preparation from the Manufacturing Engineers in the D&E projects towards the Factory;
  • Generate quantitative reporting on the number of work preparation items required, including their status, delivery date and open issues;
  • Generate qualitative reporting about the quality of the work preparation and the (technical, timing) impact of incomplete deliverables. Collect inputs from the Manufacturing Engineers, Sequence Engineers, Manufacturing Integration Architects, Proto Integration and Factory representatives. Summarize the findings into an advice towards the Factory whether execution can be started and as an input towards Key Decisions in the our client's Product Generation Process;
  • Drive the early integration and qualification of work preparation deliverables on proto systems.

Education

Bachelor level with a technical direction.

Experience

  • Multiple years working experience (>2 years);
  • Experience in a production environment with high tech products and complex production processes;
  • Experience with data collection, data structuring and reporting;
  • Experience in the field of Technical Work Preparation is an advantage.

Personal skills

  • Pro-active, persistant, quality drive;
  • Able to build a network, create and maintain working relationships, influencing without power;
  • Adequate Dutch and English language skills, written and verbal;
  • Affinity with data collection, data structuring and reporting;
  • Able to translate data into technical and timing impact analysis.

Context of the position

A Manufacturing Integration Engineer in DE P&I SI Manufacturing Group reports structurally to the Group Leader and operationally to the Project Leader Manufacturing Integration.
