Knowledge Manager - SIAM
A Knowledge Manager with SIAM experience is required to work on a three month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Preston.
This is a 3 month contract with a leading UK Defence Business
Overview of the Knowledge Manager Contract role
The Knowledge Manager will be responsible for Providing Governance on the SIAM Accounts to ensure that the Business Authority, Supplier Service Desk(s), Tower Service Providers and internal SIAM Staff are adhering to the Knowledge Management Policies, Processes and Key Performance Indicators.
Principal Accountabilities required for the Knowledge Manager
- SIAM Knowledge Management Governance
- Manage the Knowledge Management Plan to ensure that the Knowledge Management Team meet and exceed the Knowledge Management Team Targets
- Manage the Knowledge Management Target Reporting
- Management and Maintenance of the End User Knowledge Bases
- Collaborate with multiple Departments within the SIAM Organisation, the Business Authority and Tower Service Providers
- Support the Knowledge Management Lead with Transition activities
- Identify and Manage Operational Risks
The role is based in Preston, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds
