We are looking to identify an Assistant Marketing Manager that can support a large bank. This will be for a minimum of 6 month but on a rolling contract, as they will want to extend. The position will be based in Glasgow, initially they will need to be onsite full time but this can be adjusted to a few days a week combined with working from home. There will be a need to travel to Leeds and London now and again.

The key deliverables is developing in alignment with the team: credit and debit marketing campaigns

eg cross border, spend stimulation etc

YOU MUST HAVE CREDIT AND DEBIT CARD EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE. This will be manager level, with no direct reporting lines.

Experience/Skills
  • Proven success in a marketing role, internally or within a relevant external environment
  • You MUST HAVE experience with credit and debit marketing campaigns
  • Previous experience of working effectively on a day to day basis with external agencies
  • Prior experience of successfully delivering projects/campaigns within timescales, budget and to agreed objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellence in building relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Ability and confidence to challenge existing ideas and develop new proposals
  • Comfortable working effectively in a Matrix environment
  • High level of numeracy combined with business focus
  • High level of drive, energy and personal commitment to success
