Exchange Traded Derivatives Analyst/Transaction Reporting/Futures & Options
One of our large Banking clients is currently looking for and experienced Analyst/Transaction Reporting/Futures & Options
This role is to undertake business and data analysis, with focus on MiFID and EMIR transaction reporting, across the ETD product line plus project support tasks for the remediation of ETD transaction reporting issues. The role will also involve contributing to the business requirements and subsequently UAT for the MiFiD 2, EMIR and REMIT transaction reporting solution.
The successful candidate will be required to work very closely with line of business (LoB), Snr Mgmt, SME's, Technology, Compliance, Risk and with the MIFID 2/EMIR project team. Market knowledge of how peer firms under take MiFID/EMIR/REMIT transaction reporting QA/QC is useful but not essential.
Responsibilities:
Provides issues tracking, project structure to the project and LoB teams,
setting up and leading appropriate meetings structure and governance.
Day to day contact person for Technology teams, providing input into data analysis, agile scrums, creating business documentation and tracking deliverables as required.
Works closely with the business SMEs on requirements and clarifying issues during development, testing and implementation.
Manages risk and ensures documentation is in place to record the details of project delivery and testing to audit standard.
Requirements:
Knowledge of MiFID, EMIR and REMIT transaction reporting requirement.
Project experience: business analysis, project management, data analysis, and testing.
Some MiFID/EMIR/REMIT transaction QA/QC expertise is desirable but not essential.
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate.
