Description

  • Produce, validate and distribute accurate daily, weekly and monthly MI reporting within agreed timelines.
  • Work with the IB MO line team to understand KRI variance and remediation plans.
  • To work with manager and team to build a strong governance infrastructure and robust monitoring and reporting framework to:
    • Independently review effectiveness of control procedures and bCheck
    • report/monitor key controls through daily, weekly, monthly KPIs
    • analyse data and liaise with the business to understand driving forces and articulate the reason for the trends [appropriate for submission to regulators]
    • recognise deteriorating trends on key control/risk indicators, escalate and work with the line managers to assess root cause & develop a remediation plan
  • Provide support to and successfully implement Risk & Control projects/initiatives as appropriate in conjunction with the line teams.
  • Conduct root causes analysis on operational risk events, articulate the problem, propose informed improvement recommendations and drive through remediation implementations.
  • Conduct Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) to review effectiveness of internal control processes. Work with IB MO line to determine strategic remediation plans/risk acceptance for any ineffective controls with realistic timelines.
  • Benchmark existing control environment against best practices. Development of action plan with owners & accountability to close control gaps.
  • To work with the IB MO line and support in collation and delivery of all regulatory, audit, RCSA and risk event action plans. Ensure action plans are well documented, tracked and communicated to owners so as to achieve agreed timelines.
