Finance Officer - Accounts Assistant - Finance Admin - 3 month contract (Up to £13 per hour paid on a contract basis via an umbrella company)
The Role
To work as part of the Finance Team carrying out the financial duties in accordance with Faculty and University procedures; and to provide a high standard of customer service.
The candidate
- A minimum of 12 months administration experience of which 6 months should be in financial administration.
- Ability to use Excel, Access and Word
- Ability to use Infoview as a user and to develop reports
- Experience of costing
- Experience of contract monitoring
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Time Management and organisational skills, including ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to draft financial and other reports suitable for management review
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to produce documents including layout
- Highly numerate
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
- An ability to critically analyse, challenge and interpret complex data
