Risk Coordinator
Location: Seascale, Cumbria
Working hours: Monday - Friday, Full time
Salary: £22 - £25 LTD Per Hour
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Our client is a waste management company that provides services to customers to treat and dispose of low level radioactive waste; they oversee a national programme to ensure that lower activity waste is managed.
A great opportunity has arisen for a bright, proactive individual to work as a Risk Coordinator to support the on-going implementation of Sites Risk and Contingency Management framework, and provide guidance to Site on all elements of risk and opportunity management.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Supporting the Risk Manager in ensuring sites framework is effectively implemented, understood, documented, communicated, enhanced and Embedded.
- Supporting the project Controls Engineers in the maintenance of Risk Registers.
- Facilitating risk workshops.
- Performing Risk Analysis (cost and time).
- Supporting the Trending and Change Control process and DV production.
- Supporting the sites risk escalation and aggregation process.
- Providing oversight, monitoring and challenge to business risk registers.
- Supporting the Risk Manager in the preparation and maintenance of project control risk management policies and procedures, and actively promoting adherence to them throughout the business.
- Assisting in mentoring and supporting colleagues in their development of risk management.
- Contributing to on-going risk systems development.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Risk Manager
- Actively promoting the risk culture through the business.
The successful candidate will possess;
- Understanding of Risk Management Frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Experience in risk identification methods/tools.
- Strong communication and engagement skills.
- Relevant qualification in Risk Management is advantageous.
