Responsibilities:
- Responsible for architecture analysis, software installation, monitoring system performance, maintenance tuning, account & password management, capacity planning, documentation, and root cause analysis of database server
- Provide design, support, and administration of SQLServer from 2000 to 2014 releases
- Develop data back-up systems, processes, and procedures
- Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation
- Installing/migrating SQL in clustered environments
Qualifications:
- +5 years experience working in transformation / migration projects
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Cluster and always ON
- Demonstrate an excellent knowledge in SQL database migration from old versions to SQL 2014
- Experience of SSIS, SSRS is essential for the role
- Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to produce concise documentation for either technical or non-technical audiences
- Some understanding of virtualization (VMware) and storage (EMC, replication) technologies will be advantageous
- Experience working with Telefónica de España (environment and tools) is a must
- Fluent English & Spanish
