Description
I am currently recruiting for my client, a large UK retail bank, for a Finance Business Partner to join them on a 6 month contract in their offices in Bristol.
The role sits within the IT function with the primary purpose of this role to provide Finance Business Partner support to one or more Heads of Function and/or Platform Leads, ensuring the integrity of all financial outcomes and processes, offering MI and performance management challenge as well as contributing towards strategic discussions within the business areas.
Key accountabilities
- Manage relationships with specified Heads of Function and Platform Leads by providing financial support on business matters, reviewing financial performance on a monthly basis, and helping to achieve a robust financial plan
- Add insight to business decisions, using established methods such as scenario analysis, financial modelling, competitor analysis, performance measuring and monitoring
- Respond to specific analysis or business case requests from Group IT
- Work closely with Head of Function and Platform Leads to ensure accurate financial and headcount forecasts
- Analysis of overall Cost and provision of meaningful commentary to highlight headline MI to establish overall performance issues
Requirements
- Business Partnering experience
- Part or Qualified Accountant
- SAP Journal Experience
- Experience with Headcount and Costs
- Banking experience preferred
Rate - £
Location - Bristol
Contract - 6 months
