ILS Supportability Engineer
An ILS Supportability Engineer is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Cumbria.
This is a 6 month contract working for a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the ILS Supportability Engineer contract role.
The main requirements are Preparation of Supportability reports to facilitate the engineering change process and conducting related Availability Reliability and Maintainability (ARM) activities, and Implementation of the changes defined above into the LSA and Tech Pubs source documentation.
Key skills required for the ILS Supportability Engineer.
Previous experience/knowledge in the following would be advantageous;
- Availability Reliability and Maintainability (ARM) activities.
- Implementation of the changes defined above into the LSA and Tech Pubs source documentation.
- Supply System Modelling and Life Cycle Cost analysis (LCC)
- LCN structuring
- Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)
- Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)
- Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA)
- Provisioning data compilation
- Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
- Compliant with MIL-STD-1388-2B or DEF STAN 00-60
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District.
