CAD Administrator - 6 months - £12-14 per hour
The RZ Group are working closely with a global, market leading engineering company based in the Bristol area, they are looking to recruit a CAD Administrator on a 6 month contract. Key Duties/Activities
- The CAD Administrator role is responsible for assuring that drawings and other project documents related to projects are developed in accordance with Company standards and incorporating Company Recommended Practices.
- The role is project specific and requires a completer-finisher to undertake control and administrative release and verification of large volumes of release 3D and 2D CAD data
- Manage vault data configuration (moving/deleting/rollback of vault files). Co-ordinate data transfer and check in activities from 3rd party offshore suppliers. Release all data files to vault as required.
Skills/Qualifications/Education Required:
- Data migration, including import, export, and data mapping.
- Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and nontechnical terms.
- With or without reasonable accommodation, this position requires extensive computer use, good visual acuity with colour perception, and effective hand/eye coordination.
- 3+ years related experience in document administration required. Qualified understanding of Catia V5 and Smart team and proficiency using Microsoft Office applications required. Experience reading schematics and engineering documents required.
