Description

My client a global luxury retail organisation based in central London are looking for a delivery focused IT Hardware & Software Asset Manager to be responsible for IT Asset Management across my clients global offices, stores and distribution centres. Working closely with the other members of the team as well as the wider IT department the ITAM Project Manager will conduct full end to end delivery of an Asset Management life cycle Solution, including assessment and delivery of a suitable software solution(s), associated policies and procedures, and manage full adoption into the existing Global Asset Management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide project management expertise to:

  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables, including Interviewing stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Analyse and map current and future state processes, perform gap analyses
  • Create and deliver project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s)
  • Management of third parties and vendor selection, and solution development
  • Develop delivery life cycle documentation as per the internal methodology requirements, ensuring they are current and appropriately stored
  • Manage project financials including initial estimates, budgets and forecasts
  • Manage project resource allocation, co-ordinating resources to meet project objectives
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the project to stakeholders
  • Conduct Risk and Issue Management
  • Assess business impact and prepare the business for change
  • Stakeholder Management & Communications Planning

PERSON PROFILE:

  • Excellent understanding of Asset Management.
  • Strong project management experience managing multiple projects/workstreams
  • Excellent organisation with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Problem solving skills, data analysis
  • Excellent planning, organising skills, decision-making and communication skills
  • A familiarity and appreciation of the strengths and weaknesses of a range of technologies
  • Adaptable and a flexible approach to work

MINIMUM REQUREMENTS

  • IT Asset Management Project Delivery experience in an global organisation
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Experience of key ITSM toolsets (RemedyForce, ServiceNow, LANDesk, SNOW etc.)
