A leading Renewable Energy client is currently looking for a Marine Co-ordinator for its offshore wind farm project. We are looking for a Marine Co-ordinator who will be the point of contact for the wind farm in relation to the projects daily marine Co-ordinator office operations and with emergency situations. The Marine Co-ordinator will be required to assist the Lead Marine Co-ordinator in setting up the Marine Co-ordination (MC) office, implementing Marine Co-ordination procedures, acting as deputy to the Marine Manager when he/she is away.Also responsible for monitoring and co-ordinating vessel traffic, personnel and materials to and from the offshore site and chairing a daily meeting with participation of all relevant parties and subsequently issue a MC daily meeting report, issuing a weekly notice, issuing a vessel look ahead when needed.
We are looking for the Marine Co-ordinator to be able start this role from 13th July up until approx. 31st December 2016. Rotation: 15 days on and 13 days off - 12 hrs per day.
Qualifications:
- STCW95 Certified Mariners Qualification
- Minimum of 5years experience at sea as master/chief officer
- Offshore experience and/or previous Marine Coordination experience within renewables industry
