Senior Operations Engineer - Defence
A Senior Operations Engineer with Defence experience is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Cumbria
This is a 6 Month contract with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Senior Operations Engineer contract role
As the Senior Operations Engineer you will be required to do the Project Management of the Procurement, Installation and Commissioning of Plant, Equipment and Facilities for our defence client.
Key skills required for the Senior Operations Engineer
- HNC/ONC Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Experience in the following;
- Heavy manufacturing/construction industries,
- Project Management,
- Developing Business Cases/Statement of Requirements,
- Procurement,
- Installation and Commissioning of Plant,
- Equipment and Facilities,
- Health and Safety Legislation,
- including PUWER and LOLER, MS Office,
- Contractor Management and Control.
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District
