Solution Support Manager - Contract - Oxfordshire

The role requires excellent communication and management skills. The role is to broadly support the Acting Head of Maintenance with the solution management and development that are being delivered to the RAF.

The role would include:

Activities for the Solution Support Manager:

  • Process & procedural improvement & development particularly associated with moving to new facilities
  • Process & procedural improvement & development particularly associated with solution growth and expansion
  • Coordinating recruitment activities from technical requirements definition to HR delivery
  • Supporting inter-department working improvements
  • Supporting the AHM and her/his management team with safety & compliance activities
  • Influencing, tracking and reporting on performance improvements
  • Managing ad hoc projects

Experience/Skills for the Solution Support Manager:

The Solution Support Manager should have the following experience/skills:

Essential

  • Have a flexible approach to work; able to work at all levels from managing and driving action to practically developing solutions/improvements
  • Tenacious and determined but comfortable with building and maintaining relationships in a 24/7 close customer facing environment
  • IT literate with MS Office Suite programs and comfortable operating in an IT intensive environment
  • Good communicator

Desirable

  • Experience of working with UK Military customers
