CLIENT MANAGEMENT SOLUTION CONSULTANT (SYMANTEC/ALTIRIS)
The contract is with a large consultancy based in Brussels to be on assignment at a client site in Den Haag. The client is looking for a Client Management Solution Consultant to ensure the daily administration tasks of the software deployment platform (Altiris 7.6).
Tasks:
Create the requested filters, policies, tasks and packages required for the maintenance and support of Front End equipment
Ensure the maintenance of the base images
Create the requested reporting
Perform maintenance tasks, including reviewing logs for errors both on Front End and Back End
(providing the detailed action plan is available): Upgrade Altiris to the latest version and merge the Back End and Front End environments
Knowledge/skills:
Mandatory:
. Min 7 years' experience in the deployment and administration of Symantec Management Platform (Altiris)
. Experience in managing an Altiris platform for deployment on both Windows client and server
. Working knowledge of English level B2 or higher
Desirable:
. Knowledge of Windows OS images creation, maintenance and deployment using Altiris
. Knowledge in creating and distributing both operational and high level reports
. Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) in Administratiion of Symantec IT Management Suite 7.6
