Description
We currently have a vacancy for one Symantec Management Platform (SMP) Altiris Consultant to offer his/her services within a renowned European Institution in The Hague, The Netherlands (EN-speaking environment), to start ASAP (latest in 2 months) a 100 w/days contract; the perspective is multiple-years.
Tasks & Responsibilities
The consultant will perform the following tasks/services:
- Create the requested filters, policies, tasks and packages required for the maintenance and support of Front End equipment;
- Ensure the maintenance of the base images;
- Create the requested reporting;
- Perform maintenance tasks, including reviewing logs for errors both on Front End and Back End; (providing the detailed action plan is available), our client will upgrade Altiris to the latest version and merge the Back End and Front End environments.
Skills and Experience
- Eperience in the deployment and administration of Symantec Management Platform (Altiris) on both Windows client and Servers;
- Knowledge of Windows OS images creation, maintenance and deployment using Altiris is an asset;
- Desirable requirements are knowledge in creating and distributing both operational and high level reports and Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) in Administration of Symantec IT Management Suite 7.6;
- Fluent language skills in English, both written and spoken (B2);
- Candidates holding a valid certificate of good conduct or better, a security clearance, will be highly appreciated.
