Description
Finance Business Partner is required to join a leading bank within their consumer finance function to support various investment portfolio's and programmes.
Reporting to the Head of Cost and Investment Support in the CF Finance team, this role has the responsibility for providing investment support to all aspects of investment projects and portfolios. The role will also provide support to projects within the significant CF Chief Operating Office (COO) portfolio and which includes those led by the Motor Innovation and Customer Agility team.

RATE: £400-£455
LOCATION: CARDIFF
CONTRACT: 6 months
Key Accountabilities:
- Finance Business Partner to relevant Heads of Change in CF Chief Operating Office (COO) and providing support to help manage the investment budget and impacts.
- Support the development of specific business cases for projects ensuring robust assumptions are suitably validated with appropriate governance
- Deliver the accounting, reporting and financial control processes for these projects and in line with requirements from other CF Divisional teams and Group Investment Finance.
- Deliver key planning and forecasting processes for relevant projects and portfolios, working closely with CF COO and relevant CF Finance colleagues to ensure all deliverables are met.
- Provide strong insight and analysis - including reviewing, evaluating and mitigating potential risks to delivery.
- Provide key Finance expertise on investment projects eg capitalisation policy.
Key Capabilities/Knowledge:
- Finance professional with a proven track record gained in an environment with significant change
- Understanding of key Finance systems architecture and processes for investment impacts and cost
- Ability to influence at senior levels
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to lead and implement activity successfully to plan
- Strong leadership and management skills.
