Department Overview:
Global Securities Finance (GSF) offers ING's institutional and corporate clients a number of securities financing products. These products are organised into five broad product groups. The Synthetic Portfolio group (SPS), the Equity Lending and Repo group (ELR), the Fixed Income Repo group (FIR), the Portfolio Enhancement Services group (PES) group and the Linear Equity Derivatives group (LED). The sales position covers all of these GSF products.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:
- Day to day support
- Assisting with transactions
- Optimize distribution of information to clients
- Preparing pitches and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders
- Create and develop tools to streamline and support the business
Update and maintain the investor database, eg Bloomberg client lists, and client on-boarding
Conduct ad-hoc projects
Candidate Profile
Qualification/Education
Essential: Master degree preferable (though can look at strong undergraduate profiles) preferably in Economics, Finance, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent
Experience/Knowledge
Essential: First hand experience in banking
Ability and Enthusiasm to work with Excel, word and Powerpoint to optimise and analyse data
Desirable: Wide variety of experiences, outside of academia.
