One of our large Investment Banking clients is currently looking for an experienced Regulatory Analyst to join there team,
Perform analysis on the firm's regulatory reporting infrastructure. strong experience within a Custodian or Asset Management, Trade Flows/Oversight of Trades
The Regulatory Oversight team ensure that our Custody Operations in EMEA adhere to applicable local laws and maintains effective systems, processes and controls that are in compliance with all European regulations.
Responsibility
The EMEA Regulatory Analyst role will assist and deliver strategic projects to improve the regulatory reporting infrastructure. They will actively participate in strategic initiatives across the Regulatory Oversight department requiring where necessary to support the role of the Oversight Manager.
Key areas of responsibility
- Perform analysis on the firm's regulatory reporting infrastructure.
- Actively participate in the development of the strategic control framework for Regulatory Oversight.
- Manage maintenance of procedures and other documents relating to the team.
- Drive forward solutions to remediate production issues.
- Develop solid working relationships with operational areas including the Front Office, Technology, Legal and Compliance.
- Support team involvement in other activities outside of daily work.
- Production of high quality MI.
Skills and experience
- Degree educated, preferred.
- Experience in Operational Control Management.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex workflows
- Proactive and self-starter with high levels of ownership
- Flexibility and ability to learn quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with regulatory reporting
- Working knowledge of trade life cycle
- Demonstrate strong technical skills required for the role and excellent attention to detail
- Give evidence of being a team player
- Excellent communication skills
