Infrastructure Solutions Architect - Azure, O365, Windows - Arnhem, Netherlands
Square One are looking for an Infrastructure Solutions Architect to come on board for a 6 month rolling contract based in Arnhem, Netherlands.
The programme you will be joining are currently focused on the O365 & MS Azure space so any experience in this area will be highly beneficial.
In support of overall Quality of Designed Solutions in IS, responsible for :
o Coordinating service architecture projects within IS to ensure compliance with strategy, architecture, budget, security standards (alignment to AIM-SEC BSL's etc.) and operational supportability and establish impact assessment
o Working as part of a team to define operational architecture standards - including the standards for site and office Infrastructure
o Working as part of a team to Deliver of Proof of Concepts to defined specifications
o Working as part of a team to Deliver Continuous improvement of efficiency, cost and performance, for IS delivery
o Within Solution Architect team, review existing services maturity for a specific area and proposing initiatives to improve the service, both supply (retained & external) and operational delivery
o Translate demand from IS Stakeholders, typically Regional Delivery, into initiatives to improve service
Collaborating, or being consulted on:
o Working as part of a team to ensure timely investigation and remediation of end to end performance issues raised through Problem Management
Other elements of the role are:
o Working as part of a team to consult and validate that external suppliers operate to agreed operational and service architecture requirements
o Working as part of a team on delivery of fit for purpose solutions and project proposals
o Working as part of a team to ensure that the new solutions integrate with the overall IT Infrastructure landscape
o Influence others with regard to the role and relevance of IT Architecture in the business
o Identify opportunities to build cross-functional working relationships
o Input to IS solution reviews
Differentiating role factors:
o Knowledge Business Process: Has good knowledge of all business processes including relation to the own discipline and anticipates the technical and functional consequences. Has contact on own initiative with internal customers
o Analysis: Draws conclusions based on complex analysis in different technical domains, proposes measures on optimizing tactical/strategic approaches and implements these
o Guidance: Works under general supervision within work agreements; end results are being reviewed by manager on a monthly basis
o Procedures, Processes & Tools: Formulates and ensures implementation of new policies, procedures, processes, tools and systems and contributes to mainly local policy, contributes to roadmaps and three year operating plan (TOP)
o Advisory Level: Analyses and advises on different alternatives (tactical analysis) and ensures the implementation of proposed solutions/advices. Is a sparring partner on tactical level and gives advice on own initiative
o Expertise: Contemporary professional with broad and/or deep knowledge in own field of expertise requiring a command of diverse practices, theories and sophisticated concepts, understanding how profession functions and develops within the organization and society
This is a 6 month contract role paying excellent daily rates starting immediately
