Position: Tech Support Specialist
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 12 + Months
Job Description:
- Receive and respond to customers for technical support or services. Enter requests utilizing appropriate tools and processes. Thoroughly document communication with customers and complete requests or issues of basic complexity.
- Identify actual or potential problem and escalate problems to appropriate higher-level professionals when necessary.
- Complete administrative and other area related tasks such as reviewing or completing forms, disseminating document appropriate areas, reviewing and/or providing input into procedures, etc.
Technical Background:
- Ability to understand technical details and the business needs of a fast paced and large, diverse company.
- Technical help desk or other job related experience
- IT Work Experience
Daily Responsibilities:
- Actively resolve the day-to-day technical needs of customers by managing problems and solutions.
- Combination of strong communication AND technical skills. Customer service experience w/excellent communication and verbal grammar skills. Candidate should be prepared to the work in an interactive teaming environment, and exhibit a positive attitude.
