Resource/Contracts Project Manager
Global Technology and Communications company require a Resource Manager. Working with a number of suppliers you will be responsible for all resource and related projects.
Location: Botswana (Gabarone)
The role:
- Develop a skills development and skills transfer program to meet local Botswana development and empowerment initiatives (for both subcontractors and Bofinet/DIT)
- Constant interlock with the Program Manager to ensure effective and efficient development and deployment of resources when they are needed.
- Develop a training program to ensure that all resources are made aware of the program methodology and tools that are being used for the deployment and delivery of the program.
- Responsible for identifying resources with the required skillsets, decide on the number of skillsets that are required for individuals that are hired and work with the program manager to allocate the workforce accordingly.
- Responsible in conjunction with the Program Manager, to ensure resource levelling, making sure that resources are not over allocated but simultaneously ensuring high utilization at all times.
- Responsible to producing a Partner Charter Document detailing the plan and approach to resourcing focusing on ensuring that resources are readily available and the process in which attrition will be addressed.
- Become fully conversant with Botswana work permit/visa requirements and develop a plan to ensure compliance with in country work permit length of stay ensuring that there is no breach of local legislation in this regard.
- Become fully conversant with all aspects of local legislation and policy regarding foreign workforces, skills and development programs and be the conduit for Cisco and the Program Manager in this regard.
- Work closely with the Cisco Partner Management team ensuring that all processes and procedures are clearly understood and followed at all times.
