Our NHS Client, based in East London is looking for a Contractor to work a 3 month Deputy Director role - Acute Contract Managment
Team: Acute Multi-Disciplinary Team
Responsible to: Director of Acute Contract Management
Context of the role
The post holder will lead on financial management, reporting and interpretation of acute activity, non-contracted activity, ISTCs and LAS spend across the Local Health Economy and provide support to Directors and budget holders; in particular providing technical input into the contracting support to the Health Partners including CCG's & collaborative commissioning arrangements. They will provide support to the Director of Acute Contract Management, in running both the financial and analytics functions and deputising for the Director of Acute Contract Management at senior CCG and Trust facing meetings, as well as leading discrete areas of work.
The post holder will lead on financial input to acute contracting, ensuring that there is appropriate finance and analytical support for all contracts including participation in contract negotiations and leadership of financial elements of contracting such as price reviews.
Day to day responsibilities will include overseeing the financial management of all acute, non-contracted activity, ISTCs and LAS Spend budgets and providing a full financial support role to contract managers including providing costing services and budgetary control processes.
