Description
Capability Lead is required for a contract position in, Inner London Sopra Steria Recruitment working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. Our Government client is looking for Capability Lead this will be a contract for 3 months initially with possible extension.
Capability Lead:
- Focus on ensuring that DDaT specialists understand their career options across government and areas for development.
- support departments to implement career paths in their own business units and once established,
- Work with departments to ensure effective evolution as requirements change.
- Support departments to produce intelligent workforce plans to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
Experience Required
It's essential that candidates have:
- Experience in building and using career paths for specialist roles (ideally technology)
- Experience in working with senior business stakeholders to implement career paths, including pay benchmarking, workforce planning and using career path models to build capability
- Applied understanding of the Civil Service's digital agenda
- Experience of working closely with and influencing senior leaders in the digital space
- Proven track record of implementing change in complex environments
- Experience of leading and facilitating workshops
- Proven experience of prioritising work in a fast-paced change environments
It's desirable that the candidates have:
- An understanding of reward tools and practices
- Curiosity for problem solving and an eagerness to learn
- Experience of working on cross-government projects
- CIPD membership - at least Associate Level
- Experience of working in a digital/technology environment
