Description

Electronics Engineer - 12 month initial contract - North West - Competitive Rate

Amoria Bond is looking for a skilled Electronics Engineer to work on a 12 month contract based in the Northwest to be involved in the development of electronic products from conception through to the completion of the product life cycle. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the successful Electronics Engineer to work with power and propulsion systems.

In addition, the successful Electronics Engineer will be responsible for testing and document capture and compilation.

The ideal Electronics Engineer will be able to work on the following:
*Produce block diagrams
*Select appropriate components
*Create component drawings
*Run simulations
*Capture schematics
*Produce board layouts
*Understand Gerber files
*Conduct board testing
*Perform safety and reliability analysis
*Provide a good level of justification
*Integrate with mechanical systems

In addition, the successful Electronics Engineer will have a good understanding of at least one of the following packages:
*AutoCAD
*Solid Edge
*Saber
*LTspice
*Pulsonix

This is a great opportunity for the successful Electronics Engineer to work on a groundbreaking set of projects within the Aerospace industry. As such, knowledge of any of DO-178B, ED-12C and ARP 4754 standards would be useful although are by no means essential.
