Description
A leading precision engineering company based in Kent are looking to add a contract Quality Engineer to their team.
Quality Engineer will be responsible for the day to day running and facilitation of material review board which processes internal and external rejects in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
* Internal and external rejects
* FAIRs
* Carrying out internal audits to ISO9001 & AS9100
* Driving improvements in product quality
* Support the Senior Quality Engineer in the investigation of customer escapes using 8D
* Ensure test and measuring equipment are sent for calibration in a timely manner
* Maintain PPAP files
Qualifications:
* Sound knowledge of problem solving, quality tools and 8D
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance
* Knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100
* Good communication skills
* Computer literate
