Compliance Manager
We are currently looking to recruit a compliance manager to work on the 1st Line of Defence. As compliance manager, you will be working within a large financial services business and will be responsible for regulatory compliance advice.
Compliance Manager Responsibilities;
- Provide expert compliance advice on regulatory change and regulatory queries.
- Understand and monitor key themes from the FCA and Emerging regulatory change.
- Help to implement compliance understanding and knowledge throughout the business. This will include supporting the businesses by planning and delivering a programme of regulatory communications.
- To identify, build and maintain relationships with senior business management in assigned relationship management areas and to work with the business to identify and assess the key regulatory risks in relation to new or existing business activities through appropriate challenge and assistance.
- When required, support compliance related projects ensuring these are delivered on time and to specification.
Compliance Manager Skills and experience;
- Excellent knowledge of the general insurance industry and financial Services
- Excellent at building and maintaining relationships.
- Strong experience in regulatory compliance
- Excellent FCA rules and general insurance regulation knowledge, in particular ICOBS and systems & controls requirements
