Description

Procurement Advisor - CIPD

To provide cover for staff on long term sick and provide a continuity of service levels over the next 3 months. Delivery of specialist/professional services internally or externally, in relation to procurement and their customers

Planning and managing procurement projects which involve and impact on a wide range of colleagues or customers, including the identification and utilisation of appropriate resources.
Continuous improvement, development, and delivery of appropriate procurement delivery and reporting processes and systems.
Translating UK and EU procurement regulation into in house procurement policy and
processes.
Contributing to, shaping and influencing a range and Agency strategies and policies.
Aligning procurement policy and activity with other business areas
Advising, consulting and negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders
Making critical decisions and judgements about current and future activities and priorities and managing the wider implications.

Key Deliverables

Supporting the end to end delivery of current procurement projects including administrative support where required
