Contracts Engineer - Water Systems and Pumps
We have an immediate requirement for a Contracts Engineer working within our clients residential Water Systems and Pumps unit. This is a great opportunity to join an international market leader in this sector. Overall Job Purpose
- Responsible for the instigation of new projects, dealing with all aspects of procurement & scheduling, liaising with clients, consultants, & co-ordinating of installation personnel & subcontractors.
- To bring projects in on budget, on time, to specification and to clients' satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Managing technical staff/site engineers.
- To insure that all contractual requirements and targets are met.
- Continually monitor every aspect of the quality of the contract delivery.
- Negotiating with sub contractors.
- Accurate and clear communication with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
- Ensure that all forecast & reports are kept up to date.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of the pumping/water industry
- Experience of working with Water Authority working environment.
- Experience of managing site engineers, liaising with technical staff and negotiating with sub contractors.
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering background and qualifications.
