Description

I am currently looking for an experienced Shopper Marketer to join my client's global technology organisation based in Bracknell.

You will be joining our Consumer Business Group, and our newly formed team of UK Shopper Marketers, great a chance to gain experience in a new team with a new focus, developing your cross-functional and European collaboration skills where you will also be contributing to the building and shaping of the roles of Shopper Marketers and the team.

This role covers all elements of the marketing mix, with responsibility for driving sales across commodities combining all CBG products to deliver the most relevant product and experience offering for the shopper. The team will be aligned to key channels in the UK & Ireland region which includes; Mass/Pharma, Home Improvement & Trade, Retail Stationery & Value, Office Wholesale and Independent, Office Contract.

Key Job Responsibilities

*Utilise marketing programs provided by the Central Marketing team by selecting the appropriate products, tools, and promotions to reach defined targets (customers and financials)
*Co-lead the channel planning process with Sales Manager and Key Account teams
*Develop and implement account/channel specific selling toolkits to enable the execution of the commercial calendar
*Deliver optimum marketing based on customer and shopper insights to drive category performance.
*Voice of country for consumer/customer/channel inputs to Central Team such as communication programs, product mix and page/shelf layouts based on local consumer and shopper insights, category performance and marketing strategy for local/regional large opportunities
*Evaluation of promotional pricing and Key programme ROI
*Drive local demand planning process with the CoE
*Support development of and participate in line reviews/selections with customers
*Lead contact for customer merchandising teams
*Perform marketing activities for approved Local product introduction
*Profit Centre ownership for pricing approval and Local price implementation

Skills & Experience

The role requires candidates with a strong and proven marketing background to develop, implement and measure shopper programmes. Key areas of experience would typically include; product brand marketing, trade marketing and customer interactions.

Qualifications

*Business Degree qualified preferable
*Marketing education desirable (CIM, MSc or similar)
